Advice on downspout extensions

Advice on Downspout Extensions

I have a simple problem. I have a new flowerbed with a downspout that I want to extend past the flowerbed into the yard; about 15ft. I know I can buy those 55 flexible extensions (you get at Lowe's, etc) and connect them but I'm concerned the water will still leak were they are connected. So does anyone know where I can get a single long flexible extension so I don't have to connect anything. Also other alternatives/advice is greatly appreciated. They sell black flex hose that comes in long lengths for a lot less then the 55 piece you are refering too. I don't know the prices off hand (searching now). Alternatively, you could purchase a hard pipe for the down spout. They come in 10ft lengths though instead of 15ft. I'm assuming you where talking about something like this? Yep, that's the flexible extension I was referring. Is the black flexible hose, you suggested, something that will fit at the opening of the downspout? They make adapters for the one I was talking about. Trying to find it but I don't know it's proper name. The hose I posted the picture of... waste of money in my opinion. I have a white one and it's really too short to do anything and too much for it's length. I would have been better off buying an elbow and another length of downspout. I'll keep looking for that pipe I was talking about. I know people bury them so maybe I'll start looking there. This is the stuff I was talking about Attachment 664 Once you get underground you can use one of these so you won't have to bend the pipe too much.
