Pros of Rectified Porcelain Tile
Because rectified porcelain tile is more consistent in size, it is very easy to decorate with. Complicated tilework is more easily achieved with this type of tile. It is also easier to achieve thinner grout lines with rectified porcelain tile.
Cons
Like all porcelain tile, rectified porcelain tile can be easily cracked. Porcelain tile can be very expensive, as well. The rectification process will only add to this cost.
Install
Be wary of uneven floor---like with all tiling, even rectified porcelain tiles may show grout lines if your surface isn't even. Be sure to use a grout that can stand up to chemical cleaners. It may be useful to choose professional installation, as cutting tiles can prove to be difficult without the proper equipment.

Like all porcelain tiles, rectified porcelain tiles are very easy to care for. Be sure to ask your installer or supplier about chemical cleaners. Cleaning will also depend on the type of grout used as well.
