Tortilla Warmer Instructions

The purpose of a tortilla warmer is to keep tortilla shells warm until they are ready to eat. Depending upon the size of the warmer and the thickness of the tortilla shell, you can typically place 5 to 10 tortilla shells in a warmer. A tortilla warmer can keep tortilla shells warm for between 30 minutes and an hour. The tortilla warmer can produce a lot of steam, so be careful when handling it.

Instructions

1. Remove the tortilla from the packaging and place each in the tortilla warmer, one by one. Don't place too many tortillas in the warmer. The tortillas shouldn't be stacked higher than the space required to replace the cover.

2. Fit the cover tightly on the bowl of the tortilla warmer.

3. Place the tortilla warmer in the microwave.

4. Set the timer on the microwave. The time depends on the thickness and number of tortillas. For five to eight thin tortillas, set the timer for 20 to 25 seconds.

5. Remove the tortilla warmer from the microwave with a pot holder. Keep the tortillas in the warmer until ready to eat.
