Connect A Nikon Sc29 To A Bracket

The SC-29 can be used with an external flash bracket.

The Nikon SC-29 is a 9-foot, coiled TTL (Through The Lens) remote cord. This cord works with Nikon digital and film single lens reflex cameras and Nikon external "Speedlite" external flash units. When it is attached to the camera and the Speedlite, you can position the flash unit up to 9 feet away from the camera, and still have all the same functionality as if the flash was attached directly to the camera. These cords are ideal when you want to use the external flash on a bracket attached to your Nikon camera.

Instructions

1. Connect the bracket to the Nikon camera by tightening the threaded mounting knob into the tripod connector in the base of the Nikon camera.

2. Slide the "Hot shoe" connector on the Nikon SC-29 on to the Nikon camera's hot shoe and tighten the locking ring.

3. Side the other end of the cable where the Speedlite flash will be connected onto the bracket that is attached to the Nikon camera, and tighten the locking ring.

4. Slide the Nikon Speedlite onto the SC-29's hot shoe, lock the Speedlite in place, turn the Speedlite and Nikon camera on, and it is ready to be used.
