Revio C2 Installation

The Revio C2 is a 1.22 megapixel digital still camera produced by Konica Minolta. The device's features include a 1.6-inch LCD display, automatic flash and white balance, an optical viewfinder and 14MB of internal memory. While the camera is designed for ease of operation, users should first configure several of the device's settings before taking any pictures. The Revio C2 also comes packaged with special driver software intended for use with Windows PCs; this software is not required for users with Macintosh computers.


Instructions


1. Hold the camera upside down, with the front panel facing toward you. Find the battery compartment cover, located on the right side of the bottom panel. Slide the cover to the right and pull it open. Insert the two AAA batteries into the battery compartment; use the symbols printed on the interior of the compartment to determine the proper alignment for the batteries. Close the battery compartment cover and slide it to the left.


2. Return the camera to an upright position, with the front panel facing away from you. Examine the left side of the camera and locate the strap holder. Pass the small loop located at one end of the carrying strap through the opening in the strap holder. Feed the remainder of the carrying strap through the center of the small loop. Pull on the end of the strap until it is secure.


3. Activate the camera by sliding the lens cover to the left. Press the "MENU" button, located on the rear of the camera, to the right of the LCD display. Press the right arrow button, located below the "MENU" button, five times. Press the "SET" button, located to the right of the "MENU" button.


4. Use the arrow buttons to select the "DATE SET" option and press "SET." Use the arrow buttons to input the current year and press "SET." Input the current month, day, hour and minute in a similar manner. Press the "SET" button, then use the arrow buttons to select the option labeled "YES;" press "SET" again to confirm your settings.


5. Press the "MENU" button, then press the right arrow button five times, followed by the "SET" button. Use the arrow buttons to select the option labeled "LANGUAGE" and press "SET." Select the desired language setting, then press the "SET" button. Select the option labeled "YES" and press "SET" to confirm.


6. Press the "MENU" button, then press the right arrow button five times, followed by the "SET" button. Use the arrow buttons to select the option labeled "USB" and press "SET." Use the arrow buttons to select the option labeled "MSDC" if you intend to use a USB connection to transfer photos from the camera to your computer. Select the option labeled "PC Camera" if you intend to use the device as a web camera. Press the "SET" button, then select the option labeled "YES" and press "SET to confirm.


7. Close the lens cover to turn off the camera. If you are using a Windows PC, insert the driver installation disc into your computer's optical drive. Wait for the installation program to launch. Follow the on-screen instructions.
