Connect Ipod Video To A Television

Connect iPod Video to a Television

An iPod video can be a great way to watch your favorite movies, TV shows, or videos while you're out and about. Once you get home, however, it's typically much more convenient to watch those videos on your television rather than your iPod. Connecting your iPod video to your TV to watch videos or share them with friends is fairly easy and can be done in just a few minutes.

Instructions

1. Place your iPod Video into the dock that was included with it.

2. Plug the RCA cable (the cable with multi-colored plugs) included with your iPod into your iPod's dock.

3. Locate the RCA inputs on your television. Most televisions will have inputs in the back. Some TV's may also have easy to reach front inputs.

4. Match the red plus with the red outlet and so on to connect your iPod dock to your television.

5. Select the input where you have connected your iPod on your television. You will more than likely find that input in the same way your find the place where your DVD player or DVR might be plugged in. Typically the RCA inputs are found under "VIDEO" menu's or below channel 0 on your television.

6. Play your video on your iPod just as you would if you were watching it on your iPod screen rather than on your television.
