Treo 755p Vs Treo 700p

Palm's Treo line of smart phones lets you make phone calls, access the Internet and run applications while on the go. Palm offers several models under the Treo name, including the older 700p and its replacement, the 755p.

Features

The Palm Treo 700p and 755p use the Palm OS mobile operating system. They provide 60 MB of internal storage capacity for storing images, documents and audio. Both smart phones feature a built-in 1.3-megapixel digital camera that also records 352-by-288-pixel video.

Benefits

The Palm Treo 755p includes a number of feature enhancements when compared with the older Treo 700p model. The Treo 755p weights 5.6 oz., nearly 1 oz. less than the 700p. It also provides a mini SD memory card slot, which lets you increase the smart phone's 60 MB storage. Palm also added a 2X digital zoom to the Treo 755p's built-in digital camera.

Considerations

Although the Palm Treo 755p upgrades the capabilities of the Treo 700p, the newer phone has less battery life when compared with the older model. The Treo 755p provides up to 252 minutes of talk time versus the 270 minutes offered by the 700p.
