Replace The Battery In My Motorola Headset

Most of today's Bluetooth headsets run on built-in rechargeable batteries. And while those batteries typically last longer than a typical battery would, they will eventually die. That means that even if the other features on your headset still work, but the battery has died, you'll need to replace the entire unit. Fortunately, Motorola makes a handful of headsets -- including the H300 and the HS805 --that run on one AAA battery, which gives you the ability to simply replace a battery, as opposed to replacing the entire headset.

Instructions

1. Open the battery door on the back of your Motorola headset. The door will flip open and remain attached to the headset.

2. Remove the old battery from your Motorola Headset by sliding it out of the headset.

3. Insert a new AAA battery into the headset, making sure the marks on the battery, positive (+) side and the negative (-) match the marks on the headset. Typically, the negative end goes in first, with the positive end of the battery facing upward.

4. Close the battery door.
