Microsoft Navision is a software application for small or medium-sized businesses. It integrates information from accounting, sales, inventory and other business systems. This software helps you improve business productivity and customer satisfaction. Plus, you can use Microsoft Navision with other software applications such as Microsoft Office Suite. Installing requires a disc and product key that comes with your software. You can also configure certificate mapping on your Navision to communicate with other networks.
Instructions
Installing Navision
1. Insert the Microsoft Dynamics NAV installation disc in your computer's disc drive. The installation program will automatically launch.
2. Select your language and regional preferences. Follow the instructions for installing the software. Save the software to a folder on your computer's hard drive.
3. Enter your product code. This should be located in your disc's packaging. Press the "Install" button. Allow the installation to complete.
Configuring Navision
4. Click "Start" and "All Programs." Double-click Microsoft Dynamics Navision to launch it.
5. Click next to "Websites" to expand the menu. Click "BTHTTPRECEIVE." Select the "Authentication Methods" tab.
6. Uncheck all of the authentication in the menu. Click "Secure Communications" and press the "EDIT" button. Check next to "Require secure channel (SSL)" and "Enable client certificate mapping."
7. Click the "EDIT" button next to "Enable client certificate mapping." Click the "ADD" button in the Account Mappings screen.
8. Enter the map name, account and password. Make sure there is a check next to "Enable this mapping." Click "OK" when satisfied. Exit out of your windows.
