Install A Security Camera System

From keeping your family safe to monitoring in-home activities, security cameras can give a family peace of mind. While installing your own wireless security camera can be relatively easy, there are several things to think about before placing the system in your home. Picking the perfect spot to put the camera and determining the proper distance of the camera to the object you wish to monitor may be the most difficult task. Whether you want the camera to record images or audio also should be considered.

Instructions

1. Determine where you wish to place the camera. Place the camera at the proper distance from the area you wish to capture. The distance you need to place the camera at will vary on the object you wish to record as well as the clarity of the object while being recorded.

2. Mark the location of the mounting screws and hold the mounting bracket to the wall or other structure that the camera is being placed on.

3. Drill holes and attach the camera securely to the wall.

4. Plug the monitor into the wall outlet and turn it on. Adjust the reception on the monitor accordingly to ensure a clear picture.
