Verizon's HTC Ozone cell phone uses the Microsoft Windows operating system. A notable benefit of this Windows-based phone is its easy synchronization with Microsoft Outlook. This synchronization allows you to mirror the email data on both your cell phone and computer. ActiveSync, the easy-to-use synchronization software is provided with each HTC Ozone phone.
Instructions
1. Connect your phone to the computer with the USB cable.
2. Download the HTC Ozone synchronization software (ActiveSync) on your computer. If you cannot locate the CD that came with the phone's packaging, you can download the link.
3. Choose "Accept" when prompted on the license agreement screen.
4. Choose "Set up your device."
5. Choose all the data types you wish to synchronize. You have the option to choose photographs, Outlook files and your favorite bookmark website links.
6. Type the name of your phone and select "OK." After the synchronization wizard is completed, your phone will automatically sync with Outlook each time you connect it to your computer.
