The Polycom VoiceStation is a teleconferencing unit that enables groups of people in one room, typically seated at a table, to participate in a telephone call. Polycom designs the VoiceStation for plug-and-play operation, which includes connecting to a modular telephone jack and networking with a computer running a Windows operating system through an Ethernet cable connection. Connecting the VoiceStartion to a computer takes only a few seconds.

Instructions

1. Turn off the power to the VoiceStation by pressing the "On/Off" button.

2. Insert a modular telephone cable plug into the phone jack on the rear of the triangular VoiceStation and plug in the other end of the line to an active telephone service jack.

3. Connect an Ethernet cable to the matching network jack on the back of the VoiceStation and plug in the other end of the cable to the Ethernet port on a computer, or to a router connected to a computer.
