Can Gophone Subscribers Buy Answer Tones

AT&T Go Phone subscribers can purchase and utilize Answer Tones. These differ from ringtones, as Answer Tones are music or other sounds your caller will hear while waiting for your answer. Ringtones are the sounds your phone produces alerting you of a call.

You may sign up and purchase your Answer Tones via the Answer Tones Catalog at the AT&T Wireless AppCenter. AT&T has now changed the name of Answer Tones to Ringback Tones.

Pricing

Ringback Tones are usually $1.99 each plus a $1 delivery fee as of November 2010. Ringback Tones remain in your library for 180 days unless your Go Phone service expires. If your account has a zero balance, the Ringback Tone will not play until a replenishment is made.

Manage

You may manage your Ringback tones by going to the MEdia Net on your phone or by going to the Answer Tone Catalog. You may have up to 99 Ringback Tones and manage which caller hears which tone.
