Troubleshoot Electronic Picture Frames

One picture per picture frame is a thing of the past thanks to digital or electronic picture frames. Electric picture frames display multiple pictures in one frame from a SD card inserted into the electric frame. Problems can arise with electric picture frames, but they can easily be fixed, and no help from customer or technical support is required.

Instructions

1. Locate the "On" button on the side of the frame and make sure it is switched to the "On" position, not "Off." Make sure the power cord, if your electronic frame has one, is properly inserted into the side of the frame as well.

2. Press the "Reset" button. Most digital picture frames have this on one side or on the back of the frame. This will reset the picture frame and clear up any issues the frame may have had. Some digital picture frames are reset by pressing and holding the power button for several seconds.

3. Switch USB ports on the computer if the computer isn't recognizing the digital picture frame when you are uploading pictures.

4. Save all picture files on your computer in JPEG format. If your frame is not displaying your pictures, you may not have them saved in the correct format.

5. Open the SD card slot and make sure an SD card is inserted into the picture frame if no picture is displayed on the screen when the frame is powered on. Push a memory card into the frame. It is correctly inserted when you here a "click" sound.
