Configure Email for Windows Mobile 6.1
Windows Mobile is installed on many popular phones across most major service providers, including AT&T, Sprint and Verizon. Operating a device with Windows Mobile version 6.1 is almost universal. You can synchronize your personal or business email account with your phone; in most cases, Windows Mobile does the work for you, acquiring the necessary server information. You must have access to the Internet to set up an email account on your device.

If your phone is a touchscreen phone, tap "Start," then choose "Messaging."
