Download Songs To Kod100

Use the KOD-100's USB cable to connect with your personal computer.

Zhuhai Sanjin Industrial Co.'s KOD-100 is a versatile karaoke machine that also allows you to store and play digital music from your personal collection. While you can play music files from SD memory cards through the KOD-100's many SD ports, you may rather download music directly onto the karaoke machine's hard drive for permanent storage. Use the KOD-100's USB cable to establish the necessary connection between the device and your computer.

Instructions

1. Turn off the KOD-100's power if it is on.

2. Insert a PC hard drive into the KOD-100 if you have not already done so or one is not already installed. Use a screwdriver to remove the screws to the hard drive bay on the underside of the KOD-100. Lift the hard drive bay cover. Insert an FAT32-formatted hard drive into the hard drive port. Replace the hard drive bay cover and screws.

3. Connect the KOD-100 to your personal computer. Insert one end of the USB cable into the USB port located on the back of the KOD-100. Insert the other end of the USB cable into an available USB port on your computer.

4. Turn on the KOD-100 and enter USB mode. Push the "Menu" key on the remote control. Push "5" to exit karaoke mode. Push "5" to select "Setup." Push "OK" to enter the "Setup" menu. Use the up or down arrow keys to navigate to "3 USB Mode." Use the right or left arrow keys to set USB mode to "On."

5. Wait for your computer to recognize the KOD-100 as a connected device. The KOD-100's hard drive will display as a device icon on your desktop or within your file manager, such as Finder or Windows Explorer.

6. Open the file folder containing the songs you wish to download onto the KOD-100.

7. Drag and drop the songs you wish to download onto the KOD-100 onto the karaoke machine hard drive's device icon. Doing so simultaneously copies and downloads the songs onto the KOD-100.

8. Safely remove the KOD-100 from your computer. Right-click the KOD-100 hard drive's device icon and select "Eject" or "Safely Remove Device" from the drop-down menu. Disconnect the USB cable from the computer and KOD-100. You may now play the downloaded songs on your KOD-100.
