Custom guitars are expensive to make and to purchase. You want to make sure you know exactly what you're getting before you have a custom guitar made, as in most cases, no refunds will be given once the guitar is purchased. To do this, you can use a variety of online flash games that allow you to design your own custom guitar for free. This allows you to see what you're getting without spending any money.
Instructions
1. Go to Dream Guitar Builder online. As of February 2011, Dream Guitar Builder is free to use. On the right hand side of the screen, you'll see a bunch of guitar pieces. Drag these over to the blank space in the left hand side, and line them up in order to build your own guitar.
2. Try Custom Guitar, a free online flash game. Custom Guitar does most of the work for you, as all you have to do is click the arrows on the left hand side in order to alter your guitar. When you're finished, you can add stickers by dragging them over to your guitar and placing them wherever you want.
3. Go to Most Plays Custom Guitar. While the game is free as of February 2011, it's not as advanced as the other two, in that you can't fully customize a guitar, but rather have to choose from already created models. Unlike the other two online flash games, you can play a song in Most Plays Custom Guitar. It may also give you some ideas for your own guitar.
