Make Your Own Tracfone Motorola W175 Ringtones

The Tracfone Motorola W175 is a simple phone with limited features and functions. Its default ringtone alerts are few, but it gives you the option to add additional tones from the Internet. An easy solution is to make them yourself on a website like Ventones, Phonezoo or Myxer. These sites let you make tones from any song for free. To do this, you will need to save the song on your computer.

Instructions

1. Go to a website that lets you make free ringtones. Some of these sites include Ventones, Myxer and Phonezoo (see Resources).

2. Click the "Sign Up" button when you go to the website you've chosen to make ringtones with.

3. Enter your registration information required for signing up. Once you've made your free account, go to the website's "Make Your Own Ringtones" or "Create Your Own" page.

4. Click the "Choose File" button. From the "Open File" window, select the song with which you want to make your Tracfone ringtone.

5. Wait for the website to load the song you've chosen. Once it loads, you will see an editing interface with options like "Crop," "Play," "Stop" and "Pause."

6. Click the "Play" button and listen carefully. Select the "Crop" tool, and move the sliders on the timeline to crop the fragment you want to use as a ringtone.

7. Confirm that you want to crop the song. Then click the "Play" button, and listen to the cropped version. If all sounds good, click "Send to Phone."

8. Enter your cell phone in the respective field, and click the "Send" button. You will then receive an SMS on your phone from the website you've made the ringtone on. When you open the SMS, press the "Save" button to save the ringtone in the "Ringtones" folder of your phone.
