Make Your Own Flash Cards For Free

You can create your own digital flash cards with any computer available.

One of the benefits of using digital flash cards to study is that instead of hauling around a stack of index cards, you can instead use your laptop or iPhone to study anywhere, anytime. Another advantage is that instead of creating all of the flash cards yourself, websites exist that allow users to upload their own flash cards for other users. Still, if you can't find the right type of flash card, sometimes it's better to create your own.

Instructions

1. Head to Study Stack, in the resource section. Study Stack is a website that allows you to create and upload your own flash cards for free, as well as allowing you to download other user create flash cards. You'll need to sign up for an account, but as of August 2010 use of the website is free.

2. Use PowerPoint to create a slidesact as flash card. On every-odd numbered slide, write a question. On the even-numbered slide right after it, type the answer. When you play the slideshow you will get the full flash card experience.

3. Download Open Office if you don't have PowerPoint or are using a Mac computer. Open Office has presentation software available for free that can be used in the same way as PowerPoint to create digital flash cards.

4. Use the trial version of Cram, located in the resource section.
