Upload Pictures From A Motorola I580 Cell Phone Camera

Upload Pictures From a Motorola I580 Cell Phone Camera

The Motorola i580 cell phone has a built-in digital camera that lets you take pictures and video. You save the pictures to a memory card inserted in your camera. If you want to back up your pictures or share them with others, you can upload the pictures you take with the camera to a computer. Uploading the pictures also frees up space on your memory card, allowing you to take more pictures and videos.

Instructions

1. Connect the Motorola i580 to your computer by plugging the USB cable into the data port on your phone and inserting the other end into a USB jack on your computer. Your computer will recognize the phone as a removable storage device after several seconds.

2. Open "My Computer" and double-click "Removable Disk" under "Devices with Removable Storage." The files and folders on your memory card will appear in the window that pops up on the computer monitor.

3. Locate the pictures you want to upload in the "Images" folder. Pictures you take with your camera are automatically stored to the "Images" folder.

4. Click and drag the pictures from the "Images" folder into a different location on your computer. A status bar will appear on the monitor screen indicating the amount of time remaining in the transfer. Do not disconnect the phone from the computer during the transfer.

5. Disconnect the Motorola i580 from the computer when the transfer is complete.
