Transfer pictures from your computer to your Kodak EasyShare SD card.
By using an SD card with your Kodak EasyShare camera, you increase the amount of memory available for picture storage. Otherwise you will be limited to the internal memory built into the camera. You can use the SD card to transfer pictures taken with your camera directly onto your computer. You can also transfer pictures from your computer directly to your SD card. This can be done even if the pictures you desire to transfer did not originate from your Kodak EasyShare device.
Instructions
1. Download and install the Kodak EasyShare software onto your computer. You can find this software on the Kodak Easy Share website. An icon for the Kodak EasyShare software will appear on your computer's desktop.
2. Connect your Kodak EasyShare camera to your computer. Connect one end of a mini-USB cable to your camera. Connect the other end of the mini-USB cable to the USB port of your computer.
3. Insert the SD card into your Kodak EasyShare camera. Power on your the camera.
4. Double-click on the Kodak EasyShare desktop icon to launch the program.
5. Click on the "File" option from the top navigation menu of the Kodak EasyShare software program. Select the option to "Add Pictures."
6. Browse through the folders on your computer's hard drive to select all of the pictures you want to add to the SD card. To select multiple pictures, hold down the "Ctrl" key as you select the pictures. Be sure to click the dropdown arrow to create an album to put the pictures in.
7. Click the "Done" button to upload all the selected pictures into the software program. Uploading may take a few minutes depending upon the amount of pictures and your Internet connection speed. After the pictures are uploaded, you will see the album within the interface of the software program.
8. Click on the album of pictures to highlight it. You can also double-click on the album to select individual pictures.
9. Click on the "Copy To" button located on the top toolbar.
10. Select the "Removable Media" tab. You will see your Kodak EasyShare camera listed.
11. Click on the Kodak EasyShare camera option to highlight it. Click the "OK" button to complete the transfer.
12. View the pictures on your Kodak EasyShare camera to make sure all of your pictures were successfully transferred.
