How Does An Sd Card Viewer Work

View the images saved on your SD card.

An SD card viewer is essentially a digital picture display. Because most SD cards are used to store digital images within cameras, the SD card reader takes the data from the card and displays the information on the built-in LCD screen. This is helpful if you want to show friends and family your images without using the small screen on your digital camera.

Instructions

1. Insert the SD card into the SD card viewer. The location of the SD card slot is going to vary depending on the make and model of viewer you are using.

2. Power on the SD card viewer. It will detect the inserted SD card and load the first image onto the screen.

3. Push the "Next" button to advance to the second image saved on the SD card. Push "Previous" to return to the picture you just viewed.

4. Eject the SD card by pushing the card deeper into the viewer. This releases the lock on the card and it automatically ejects from the system.
