Disassemble A Bogen Tripod

It can be quite a hassle to bring your camcorder tripod with you while you travel. Aside from the fact that it takes a lot of space in any compartment, it can be tiring to carry the tripod wherever you go. This is also the same for big brands like the Bogen Tripod. Luckily, there is a way for you to disassemble your Bogen tripod so you won't have to carry its long sticks and huge head while going on a trip. Taking the Bogen tripod apart will make it easier for you to bring it wherever you go.

Instructions

1. Use your Allen wrench to remove the four screws holding the two halves of your Bogen tripod's head together.

2. Pry the two casings apart using your flathead screwdriver, making sure not to damage any part of the tripod head. Hold onto the plunger at the opposite side of the head so as not to cause the plunger spring to shoot out.

3. Check the parts after fully removing the casing. The spring and plunger should come out easily, while the hanger will likely fall out as soon as you begin prying the casing apart. Make sure you do not lose your Bogen tripod's little golden stopper.

4. Remove your tripod's tension wheel as well as the spring by placing your hand over the spring to prevent it from shooting out. Use your flathead screwdriver to pry off the tension wheel.

5. Lift out the rest of the parts using your fingers after removing the spring and wheel tension.
