Wire A Tm231a Mic

The TM-231A is an FM transceiver that lets you communicate with other people using FM signals. The device is useful for those who travel over long distances, such as truck drivers. The device includes a microphone, which makes communicating with other people easier. You must wire the microphone before you are able to communicate. Fortunately, wiring the microphone on this transceiver does not require any advanced technical expertise.

Instructions

1. Power off the transceiver by pressing the "OFF" button on the face of the device.

2. Align the microphone's plug with the eight holes of the microphone port. The port is on the lower-right side of the transceiver. Press the microphone connector into the microphone port.

3. Press the "Power" button after you have connected the microphone. Test the microphone by tuning to a station and pressing the "Push to Talk" button. Release the button. Someone tuned to the same station may respond to you.
