Troubleshoot A Gexinno2bk Fm Transmitter

The Pioneer Inno2 --- also known as the Pioneer GEX-INNO2BK --- is a portable satellite radio unit that also includes an integrated FM transmitter. The Inno2's FM transmitter allows you to broadcast audio from the Inno2 to an FM radio. And while there isn't much that can go wrong with the FM transmitter, apart from the Inno2 itself malfunctioning, there are some things you can do if you encounter issues when using the Inno2's FM transmitter.

Instructions

1. Ensure that FM transmitter is turned on. Press the "XM" menu button on the front of the Inno2. Select the "Settings" option in the XM menu --- press the arrow buttons to navigate, and the "XM" button to confirm your selection. Select the "FM Modulator" option in the Settings menu and then select the "FM Mode" button in the FM Modulator menu. Select the "ON" option in the FM Mode menu.

2. Adjust volume the FM transmitter's levels if the audio output is too soft or loud. Press the Inno2's "XM" button. Select the "Settings" option in the XM menu, choose "FM Modulator" and then select the "FM Level" option. Use the Inno2's arrow button to raise or lower the FM transmitter's volume.

3. Switch to a different radio station if you encounter heavy interference on the current station. Tune your car radio to an unused, low static station --- match the station in your Inno2. Press the "XM" button, select "Settings," choose "FM Modulator" and then select the "FM Frequency" option. Select the new frequency using the Inno2's arrow buttons.
