Transfer Sim Card Information To Contacts On A 6120c

Some mobile phone companies rely on subscriber identity module (SIM) cards to connect a phone to its mobile network. However, SIM cards do more than identify your Nokia 6120C to its mobile network. The cards also can store contact information to transfer between mobile devices. When you put a SIM card into your Nokia 6120C, you can use the contact information on the SIM card, but many users prefer to store that information on their phone's memory.

Instructions

1. Turn off the Nokia 6120C. Slide the back cover off and remove the battery. Insert the SIM card into the holder with the gold contacts facing down and the beveled corner facing the top corner of the phone. Close the SIM cardholder and slide it upwards.

2. Turn your Nokia 6120C back on. Press the menu key. Click "Contacts." Click "Options." Click "SIM contacts." Click "SIM directory."

3. Browse the list of contacts on your SIM card. Mark the ones that you want to transfer to your Nokia 6120C's address book. Click "Options." Click "Copy to Contacts."
