Record Video On The Motorola Razr

It seemed not that long ago that if you wanted to record a video of an event you had to go out and purchase a video camera. You would find yourself spending even more money if you wanted to be able to produce it into a shareable format, i.e. email and such. Cell phones have now given you that capability with built in video recorders. Start using your cell phone video camera today to start sharing memories for the future.

Instructions

1. Clean off the camera lens on your camera phone. This will look like a little peep hole or little circle on the front of the phone. Keeping this clean will ensure that you are avoiding any streaks or lines across your video. You can simply wipe it clean with a cloth or lends cleaner. Once you have done that navigate to your video camera on the phone.

2. Pull up the main menu on your phone. You can do this by pushing the center button on the directional pad. This pad is right above the number keypad on the phone. Once you have pulled up the main menu you will be given numerous options. You will now see 5 tabs to choose from. Scroll all the way to the left to choose the tab with the red arrow as an icon. This tab will be titled “Get It Now.”

3. Press the number 2 button or push the directional pad down once and click “ok” while the option is highlighted. The option highlighted and selected should be “Get Pix & Flix.” Now press the number 7 or scroll down to the number 7 until the selection “Take Flix” is highlighted, when it is click “ok.” This will now pull up the video camera on the phone. Using the right or left buttons on the directional pad you will be able to zoom in or zoom out. Once you have set the zoom you are ready to record.

4. Point the camera at the object or area you want to record once you have decided that it is to your liking you can click the middle button on the directional pad to start recording, click it again and it will stop the recording. Once you have stopped recording you will be able to save your video or erase it.

5. Click the save button at the bottom left of the screen and it will be automatically saved. To view it just hit the “My Flix” button at the bottom left of the screen. This will pull up all of the videos that you have taken. As a default the title of the video will be in the form of that day’s date. Highlight the video and click the play button to review it. If you would like to keep it you can rename it to something appropriate or if you do not like it then you can erase it as this time as well.
