Tivax manufactures digital-to-analog converter boxes for FTA (free to air) television broadcasts. The box transforms a digital signal into an analog signal that can be processed on older television sets. Setting up the Tivax requires two sets of coaxial cables for connecting the box between the programming source, which in this case will be an antenna, and the TV.
Instructions
1. Attach a coaxial cable from the RF OUT jack on the antenna programming source, to the COAX IN or RF IN jack on the back of the Tivax converter. The coupler on the end of the cable fits over the threaded jack and secures by being turned clockwise.
2. Connect a second coaxial cable to the OUT to TV jack on the Tivax converter box, tightening the coupler clockwise by hand.
3. Secure the other end of the second cable to the RF IN jack on the back of a television.
4. Turn on the Tivax box and press the "Program" button to process all available over-the-air digital signals into analog signals for the TV.
5. Set the TV to channel 3 or 4, then use the Tivax remote control to change channels.
