Use A Db4

The DB4 is a video camera display switcher manufactured by Advanced Technology Video, Inc. Up to four video cameras can be connected to the DB4, which outputs the camera's information on a monitor. When running, the DB4 automatically switches between cameras in sequential order. Users can set the amount of time before the video is switched or use the manual mode to switch between cameras. The DB4 connects to the video cameras using BNC connectors.

Instructions

1. Connect the power cord to the DB4 and plug it into a working power outlet.

2. Plug the connecting wires from the video cameras into the rear of the DB4. If you have a preference as to the order of the cameras, place them in the corresponding ports. For example, the first camera you want to see should be placed in the first port, the second camera you want to see should be placed in the second port, and so on.

3. Connect the DB4 to the monitor using the "Video Output" port on the DB4 and the "Video Input" port on the monitor.

4. Press "Auto" to start switching between the cameras plugged into the unit. The cameras will switch at a timed interval.

5. Push the up or down arrow buttons on the DB4 to change the amount of time between switching. The time can be set between 1 and 99 seconds.

6. Press "Select Camera" to chose the camera you want to view on the monitor. When "Select Camera" is pressed, the DB4 will not switch between cameras.
