Transfer Music To An Sd Memory Card

Transfer Music to an SD Memory Card

An SD card, short for "Secure Digital," is a portable memory card used to increase the storage capacity of electronic devices such as cell phones, video game consoles and digital cameras. To transfer music from your computer to an SD card, you will need to use an "SD card reader." Some computers have SD readers built in. External SD card readers are cheap USB devices that can read the contents of SD cards.

Instructions

1. If your computer already has an SD card reader slot, insert the SD card into it. If not, connect the external SD card reader to an available USB port on your computer and insert the SD card into the reader's slot.

2. Click the "Start" icon in the Windows taskbar. Click "My Computer." Double-click "Removable Disk [F:]." This will open the root storage directory of the SD card. This is where all files on the SD card are stored.

3. Drag music files into the root storage directory of the SD card. Each file will be automatically transferred.
