Put Music On An Sd Card For An Htc Tilt

The HTC Tilt is a Windows Mobile-powered smartphone that features a tilting screen and slide-out QWERTY keyboard. Because the Tilt is limited to 256 MB of internal memory, a MicroSD card is required if you want to add music or other media to the device. This is simple to do, thanks to the integration between Windows Media Player mobile and your computer's version of Windows Mobile. All files transferred from your computer are stored on the MicroSD card.

Instructions

1. Slide the rubber cover on the MicroSD card slot out of the way and insert the card. The card slot is on the bottom of the phone next to the Reset switch. Replace the rubber cover.

2. Open Windows Media Player on your computer.

3. Connect the HTC Tilt to your computer using the supplied USB sync cable. Tap the "Start" icon on the top of the phone. Tap "Programs." Tap "ActiveSync." Tap "Sync."

4. Click the "Sync" button on the right side of Windows Media Player. Windows Media Player will synchronize with the phone. Drag-and-drop the music you want on the HTC Tilt into the "Sync List" window below the "Sync" button.
