Turn On A Canon Rebel 2000

The Canon Rebel 2000 is a 35mm film camera.

The Canon Rebel 2000, introduced in October 2001, is a model in Canon's popular line of entry-level 35mm single lens reflex (SLR) cameras. Canon continued to use the name "Rebel" as photography moved from the film era into the digital age. While the Rebel line is at the entry-level point in film and digital, the camera is packed with features and provides good value for a photographer's first SLR camera. The power switch for the Rebel 2000 is integrated into the exposure mode dial.

Instructions

1. Hold the camera in one hand and make sure it is loaded with two fresh lithium CR2 batteries. These batteries go into the molded hand grip on the camera.

2. Locate the exposure mode dial on the top left of the camera. Here you will see a red camera icon. When the dial is in this position, the camera is turned off.

3. Turn the dial to any of the 11 shooting modes for the camera. When you turn the dial to select the shooting mode, the camera will be turned on at the same time.

4. Hold the camera to your eye, compose the picture and press the shutter release to take the picture. The Canon Rebel 2000 has a built-in film winder that automatically advances the film so you can take the next shot right away.
