There are a variety of home audio systems available for the average consumer. One type of audio system is the Bose sound dock. The Bose sound dock is one of the most expensive, but quality audio systems on the market. Over time, however, a wire or connection inside the Bose sound dock may come loose causing the audio to stop. Taking apart a Bose sound dock is very simple and only requires minimal tools.
Instructions
1. Remove any MP3 player from the Bose sound dock.
2. Disconnect all the sound cord plugs for the various speakers from the rear of the Bose sound dock. Unplug the Bose sound dock.
3. Flip the Bose sound dock over on its top side. Most Bose models have all the screw heads on the base of the Bose sound dock.
4. Unscrew the six to eight screws fastening the bottom and top halves of the Bose sound dock. The number of screws and whether you will use a flat head or Phillips screwdriver will vary from model to model. Put the screws in a safe spot so they don't get lost.
5. Slowly pull the base from the top plastic cover. There will be wires attached from the base electric board to the top touch display and buttons. The cords are long enough to set the top down beside the Bose sound dock base.
