Ipod Engraving Ideas For Love

Get your sweetie an iPod engraved with a love message.

An iPod can be a romantic gift, especially when you fill it with love songs and other songs that are meaningful to you and your significant other. Apple allows you to order iPods from their site with custom messages engraved right onto the device. Most iPods fit up to two lines of 29 characters each. Use this opportunity to express your love.

Famous Love Quotes

Consider famous love quotes written by William Shakespeare, Mother Theresa, or just about any other famous writer, poet, philosopher, or noteworthy figure. Some quotes are funny, some are sappy, some are serious, and some are a combination. Find the perfect quote for your significant other, and remember to limit it to 29 characters on each line. For example, you could use this quote from Henry David Thoreau: "There is no remedy for love but to love more" (44 characters), or this quote from Shakespeare: "When I saw you I fell in love & you smiled because you knew." (58 characters).

Meaningful Messages

Every relationship has moments that both people will always remember. If you have a memory that you can put into words, consider engraving that on your iPod gift. Maybe it is an inside joke, or a funny line someone mumbled when you were on a road trip together. Does your relationship have a "catch phrase" or a common saying that defines the character of your relationship? If so, use that saying. Or, look back at your wedding ceremony and take your favorite passage or quote from the ceremony and engrave that on the iPod. Your significant other will read the message often and praise your creativity.

Write Your Own Quote

Nothing is more personal than a romantic message you wrote for your loved one. Have you written love notes in the past? Dig them up and look for a good phrase to engrave on your iPod. Think of the first time you told your significant other how you felt. Do you remember what you said? If so, engrave that on the iPod. Or, be brave and get out a pen and paper and try to describe what the person means to you in 60 characters or less. It has to be short and sweet. If you run into trouble with writer's block, just picture a favorite memory of him or her and describe that memory on paper. Read it when you are through; chances are you wrote something beautiful and romantic without even trying.
