Clean A Pc Using Compressed Air

Clean a PC Using Compressed Air

Computers are one of the most useful inventions that mankind has ever created. Much like any other items in our homes, PCs can also collect dust and become dirty. Due to the fact that computers are made from complex and sensitive electronics, you will almost always want to use compressed air to gently clean them. Just follow these easy steps and have a dust-free and clean computer.

Instructions

Clean a PC Using Compressed Air

1. Get the supplies. Head to any computer store and you will be able to get the supplies that you need. Make sure that you pick up a few bottles of compressed air, it does not last as long as you think that it would.

2. Set up the compressed air bottle. You will have to remove the packaging. There is a little plastic straw that comes attached to side of the can. Remove this straw and place it in the nozzle. Break the plastic safety seal from the nozzle and you are set to clean.

3. Spray air in even motions over the monitor. Hold the can about 4 to 6 inches from the screen. Spray air in even, left-to-right motions to clean the screen. Wipe away any excess dirt or dust with the soft cloth.

4. Spray air to clean and dust the keyboard. Hold can so the plastic straw is nearly touching the keys. Follow the placement of the keys on the keyboard and apply air to clean the dust and dirt from them. Wipe down the keyboard with a damp cloth afterwards.

5. Use air to clean dust from PC fan and vents. Your PC case has a fan and heat vents on the back that can get clogged from dust or dirt. Hold the nozzle and straw near these vents and clean them with the compressed air.
