Clean A Clogged Canon Print Head

Printers in offices are used by many people and need to be cleaned periodically.

Canon is a company that sells inkjet printers for home and office use. If you have an inkjet printer, then you probably know that it is possible for the print head inside the printer to become clogged with ink. Once this happens, the quality of everything you print will be compromised. You will not be able to enjoy the same performance from your Canon inkjet printer as you're used to. To resolve this issue, you can attempt to clean the clogged Canon print head.

Instructions

1. Remove the print head from your Canon printer. The print head will have a small notch on the top with an elongated rubber seal on the bottom. This is the structure you can expect from Canon printers.

2. Saturate a cotton swab in hot water. Use it on the print head while it's still warm.

3. Rub the cotton swab over the area of the print head that's clogged. This will most likely be in the ink channel of the Canon print head. The moisture from the warm water will help unclog the dried ink.

4. Complete this process as fast as possible. The types of print heads found in Canon printers should not be left out for longer than a few minutes.
