If you have been making personal recordings using your Sony Minidisc Recorder, you may wish to transfer those recordings to your PC. By transferring your recordings to your PC, you can edit, store and share the recordings using a multitude of audio editing software. The Sony Minidisc can connect to your computer using a USB cable and transfer the audio recordings using the included "SonicStage" software. This software must be installed using the installation CD included with the Minidisc Recorder before a file transfer can be done.
Instructions
1. Plug the USB cable into the USB port on your Sony Minidisc Player.
2. Plug the other end of the USB cable into an available USB port on your PC. The "SonicStage" software will automatically launch.
3. Click the recording you would like to transfer in the right-hand window pane of the "SonicStage" software.
4. Click the left pointing arrow to transfer the selected audio recording to your PC.
