Setting up a JVC AV 2750S television requires several important steps, particularly when attempting to attach external devices to the JVC. However, a professional television installer is not necessary to get your JVC AV 2750S television set up. With a knowledge of the kinds of cables involved (A/V, particularly) and the corresponding socket locations on the back of your TV, as well as some keen navigation of the TV's menu system, your JVC AV 2750S television will be set up with little incident.
Instructions
1. Connect the main power cable of your JVC AV 2750S television into your wall outlet or power strip. Make sure this is securely in place. Then, make the appropriate A/V (audio/visual) connections so that your JVC AV 2750S television may receive a television feed. The A/V cables, which are red, yellow and white (standard), plug into sockets on the back of your JVC AV 2750S television and on the back of either your cable box or satellite receiver, depending on how you receive television. The sockets on both the back of the box/receiver and your TV are color-coded and matched to the A/V cables, so this should be a cinch.
2. Power on your TV and locate your JVC AV 2750S television remote control. Hit the "Menu" button on the remote control to bring up your menu options on your display. Here, you can adjust a number of parameters at your convenience, from display brightness settings under the Brightness menu category to date and time functions under the Clock setting.
3. Hit the "CH" button on your JVC remote. This will automatically program your JVC AV 2750S television for the channels you have available to you. This will allow you to use the up and down arrows on the remote to cycle through channels sequentially, as opposed to simply being able to just input the channel number.
4. Connect any external devices that you please to your JVC AV 2750S television. These may include anything from game systems to DVD players. To connect these devices and set them up in conjunction with your JVC AV 2750S television, use the A/V cables that come with each device and plug them into the back of the external device and the back of your TV the additional A/V sockets your JVC provides. These sockets will be color-coded to match the cables to avoid confusion.
5. Cycle through your available video inputs to display information (audio, video) from external devices. You will need to select a different video input than what is currently selected for your TV feed to view a DVD, even after you have these devices set up. Press the "A/V" button on your JVC AV 2750S television remote to cycle through the available video inputs and find the input assigned to the external device in question.
