Use A Hp Jornada 560 Pocket Pc

The HP Jornada 560 is pocket PC is a stylish and intuitive phone. Based on the Windows PC 2002 operating system, with it you can take all the luxuries of your PC life with you wherever you go. Sporting enhanced display and computer features, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel, this phone works the same way as your PC does.


Instructions


1. Configure and align your screen. Press and hold the HP menu button, then tap the hot key to open the HP quick menu. Use the navigation tool to highlight the "Align Screen option" then click the action button. Your screen will display targets. Touch each target with your stylus pen at each point to align your screen. Be precise to align your screen correctly.


2. Create a new contact. Tap "New" on the base of the camera, then select "Contact". On the contact window, tap the keyboard icon on the lower right. Tap in your contacts information. To assign the contact a category such as colleagues, family or friends, tap "Category." When you are done tap "Ok."


Your contact is saved. To view or find contacts, tap the "Start" button then tap "find." Enter your contacts name, then tap "Go."


3. Open programs. Tap the "Start" button, then select the program you want to open. To add programs to your start menu, tap the "Start" button the tap "Settings." Tap "Menu" and check all the programs you want to create a shortcut for, then tap ok.


4. Manage settings. Push "Start", then tap "Settings." Tap "Display" using your stylus pen to adjust the brightness levels and back-light. Set the a time for your back-light to turn off to conserve power. Under the "HP Settings", select volume and drag the slider back and forth to increase or decrease the volume. To adjust the power settings, check the options to automatically power off your phone when its not in use.


5. Locate files on your phone. Tap "Start." Tap "Find" then enter the name of the file you want to locate then tap "Go." Another way to locate a file is to tap "Programs" under the start menu, then tap "File Explorer." The open window contains files and folders on your system. To create a new folder, tap and hold the screen. On the new pop-up window, select "New Folder." Name your folder and create it. To move files from one folder to another, tap and hold your file, then select copy on the pop-up window. After copying, open the folder you want and tap and hold the screen, then select "Paste" to transfer the file to the new folder.


6. Send a text message. Tap the "Message" icon on your today's screen. On the text message screen, tap "New." Tap the keyboard icon to type your message. To create a Microsoft document, tap the "Start" button then tap the word icon to begin a new document. To create a spreadsheet with Excel, tap the "Start" button, then select the Excel icon to begin your spreadsheet. When you are done, click the "Save" button.
