Change The Iso Setting In A Fujifilm S1000fd

The Fujifilm S1000FD has an automatic setting that adjusts the camera's settings based on the current shooting conditions. Though the automatic adjustments are often accurate enough to produce high-quality shots, some conditions may require user intervention in order to increase the quality of the photograph. One of the settings the user can adjust is ISO. The ISO setting determines the sensitivity of the shot. The higher the ISO number, the more sensitive the camera is to light. This control is effective in many conditions, particularly dark locations.

Instructions

1. Press the "F" button on the back of the camera to open the "F-Mode Menu" screen. The "F-Mode Menu" screen allows you to make adjustments to camera that will affect your photograph.

2. Highlight "ISO" using the up-and-down arrow buttons and press the right arrow button to open the "ISO" menu. A list of ISO settings will appear on the screen.

3. Use the up-and-down arrow buttons to select your desired ISO setting. The S1000FD has 10 separate ISO settings. The higher the setting, the more sensitive the camera is to light. If you choose "Auto," the camera will automatically choose the best ISO setting. If you choose a setting such as "Auto/400," the camera will choose the best setting up to "400."

4. Press the "Menu/OK" button on the back of the camera to save the setting.
