Connect A Sanyo Vcr To Cable

DVD players have come a long way in providing an enhanced device for watching movies and other recorded media. However, they can't help you out when you want to record a show or big game. You could buy a new DVR, but since you already have an old Sanyo VCR, what's the point? Connection is simple and you can use the VCR to record whenever you need.

Instructions

1. Run the cable from the wall into the "Cable In" input on the VCR. If you're using a cable box, run the cable into the cable input on the box, then run a separate cable from the box's output to the VCR's input.

2. Run another coaxial cable from the output on the VCR to the input on your TV.

3. Double-check to make sure all the cable connectors are screwed on tightly.

4. Connect the red, white and yellow audio and video outputs of your VCR to your TV.

5. Turn all the components on, switch to the appropriate channel on your TV and VCR, usually channel 3, and set the VCR for recording.
