Review Sirius Radio Listings

The satellite radio provider Sirius gives you so many station choices that it can be hard to find your favorites. There are close to 200 different channels to pick from if you have an all-access subscription. Luckily, there are a few ways to make it easier to review Sirius radio listings.

Instructions

Review Sirius Radio Listings

1. Browse channel listings by genre. You can minimize listings by searching through genre folders like country music, rock, news and entertainment. You can look through the available channels in the genre once you find one that interests you.

2. Use the "seek" button on your receiver to review all channels or just specific genre listings. The seek function will change to a new station about every 30 seconds or so and can easily be stopped by pushing the button again if you hear something you want to listen to. Unfortunately, not all Sirius players have a "seek" button.

3. Look at the Sirius channel guide online (see Resources below). This listing is similar to the channel list that came with your player, although it may be more up-to-date. You may want to print out a copy for your own records, in case you lose your hard copy.

4. Program your favorite stations to your receiver. Some Sirius units can hold up to 20 or 30 preset stations. A remote control can make it easier to review your favorite Sirius stations with the push of a few buttons.

5. Browse and save your favorite online stations to your user account. Your online presets can be accessed at any computer, since they are saved to the network and not locally on the computer. Remember that low-quality Internet Sirius radio is available free with your satellite subscription.
