Connect The Onkyo T4555 To The Computer

The Onkyo T-4555 is a multi-platform, stand-alone tuner. The tuner can receive AM, FM and HD radio frequencies, as well as XM and Sirius frequencies. In order to receive XM and Sirius programming, however, you need to use an optional antennae and have an XM and/or Sirius programming subscription. The T-4555 comes in either black or silver and features 40 AM/FM presets as well as a 12V trigger, which allows you to power on other devices using the T4555.

Instructions

1. Example RCA to Stereo Y cable

Connect the RCA end of the Y cable to the Audio Output ports on the back of the T-4555. The RCA end has either white and red connectors or black and red connectors. Connect the red connector into the R port and the white or black connector into the L port on the back of the T-4555.

2. Connect the stereo end of the Y cable to the Line In port on the computer. If you do not have this port, insert it into the microphone port on the computer.

3. Double-click on the volume controls icon in the bottom right corner of the desktop on the computer. The icon looks like a speaker.

4. Uncheck the box next to Mute under Line In, then close the volume controls.
