Data CDs offer an efficient way to store and archive documents, photos, music and other files. Use your computer's CD burner to copy digital pictures from your hard drive onto a CD-RW. Windows uses Windows Explorer to create data CDs. Burning a digital picture CD with Windows Explorer will allow you to playback the CD on DVD players and Blu-ray players that are capable of playing picture files.
Instructions
1. Insert the CD-RW into your computer's CD burner. AutoPlay launches. Select "Burn Fles to Disc Using Windows Explorer." The Burn Disc dialogue opens.
2. Enter a name for the CD in the "Disc Title" box. Select the "With CD/DVD Player" option, then click the "Next" button.
3. Navigate to the folder containing the pictures you want to copy. Drag and drop the files from the current folder to the burn disc folder.
4. Click "Burn to Disc" in the toolbar of the burn folder when you are ready to copy the pictures to the CD-RW.
5. Remove the CD-RW from the disc tray when it opens. The tray opens automatically when the burn process is complete.
