Update Magellan 4210 Gps Maps

As time goes on, the maps on your Magellan 4210 GPS will gradually become outdated. When new roads are opened, or roads are closed, the changes do not show up on the original GPS software. Magellan sells updated map packages via their website that, once purchased, will update your Magellan to the latest maps. Once ordered, the new maps are shipped directly to your door via DVD.


Instructions


1. Navigate to the Magellan website in your web browser. Click "Products" at the top of the screen, then select "Maps & Software."


2. Click "Find Maps by Specific GPS Model," then select "Magellan Maestro 4210 North America" from the drop-down menu.


3. Click "Add to Cart" then click "Proceed to Checkout" and complete the purchase of the new maps. The maps will be shipped to your once the order is complete.


4. Insert the DVD into the DVD drive on your computer once it arrives.


5. Download the Magellan Content Manager software from the Magellan website. When the software is finished downloading, double-click the installation file and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation. Open the Magellan Content Manager software once the installation is complete.


6. Connect the Magellan GPS to the computer using the mini USB cable included with the device.


7. Follow the on-screen instructions displayed in the Magellan Content Manager software to complete the map update on the Magellan Maestro 4210 GPS.
