Copy Music From An S50 To A Computer

Copy music from your Sirius S50 media player to your computer.

The Sirius S50 is a device that allows you to listen to streaming satellite radio in the palm of your hands. Not only does the device allow you to stream radio stations from around the globe, but it also acts as a media player. The media player allows you to import and store your own MP3s and also create playlists. You can easily copy songs that are stored on your Sirius S50 and place those songs onto your computer.

Instructions

1. Power on your Sirius S50 and your computer.

2. Download and install the "My Sirius Studio" onto your computer. You do this by inserting the software CD that came with your S50 into the CD ROM of your computer. The Sirius Software is only compatible with Windows XP and Windows 2000 operating systems.

3. Connect one end of the USB cable that came with your S50 to the USB port on the device. Connect the other end to a USB port on your computer.

4. Open the My Sirius Studio software on your computer. You can do this by clicking on the Sirius desktop icon. If you elected not to place the Sirius icon on your desktop, you can instead click on your Windows "Start" button, select "Programs" and "My Sirius Studio."

5. Click on the "Songs" tab of the My Sirius Studio program. You will see a list of all of your songs listed. Right-click on the song/songs you would like to copy to your computer. Select "Copy."

6. Open the location on your computer that you would like to copy the songs to--for example, your music folder, iTunes folder or computer desktop.

7. Right-click inside of the folder/location. Select the "Paste" option. Wait as your music is copied to the location.
