Load Paper To A Hp Deskjet 3845 Printer

Loading paper into an HP 3845 is as easy as 1-2-3.

Sometimes when you are working on something important -- a report, paper, article, etc. -- you find when you go to print it, you are out of paper. While the initial discovery can be frustrating, reloading paper into the Hewlett-Packard (HP) Deskjet 3845 printer is as easy as it possibly can be. In a few seconds, you can be back on your way to successfully finishing your print-job.

Instructions

Initial Set-Up

1. Raise the printer cover.

2. Fold the "In" paper tray down. The Deskjet 3845 has two paper trays, one for loading paper (In) and one for after the papers have printed (Out). The In tray is the bottom tray.

3. Load paper into the tray and slide the guide against the edge of the papers. This tells the printer what size paper you have loaded and keeps the paper in a neat stack.

Subsequent Loadings

4. Raise the printer cover.

5. Raise the top Out tray to get it out of the way.

6. Load paper into the bottom In tray. Slide the paper guide against the papers' edge snugly.

7. Lower the Out tray. Lower the printer cover. Resume printing.
