Activate 3g On Lg Viewty

The LG Viewty, also known as the LG-KU990, is a mobile phone with touch-screen capabilities and option to connect to a 3G network with your service provider. 3G stands for the specification standards for Internet connectivity with a mobile phone, including the speed of the wireless connection. Many times the Internet settings are automatically installed with the phone, depending on where you purchase it. However, you may need to manually activate the 3G network so that you can connect to the Internet.

Instructions

1. Turn on your LG Viewty phone and then tap on the shortcut icon that has four dots on the bottom of the display screen.

2. Tap on the "Settings" icon from the tab bar on the right side of the screen. Tap on the "Phone settings" option from the Settings menu.

3. Tap on the "Connectivity" option from the Phone Setting screen, and then tap on the "Access points" option from the Connectivity menu.

4. Tap on the "Add" button and then enter "3 Internet" into the "Connection title" field. Tap the "OK" button and then select the "UMTS" option from the "Bearer" field.

5. Enter wireless 3G network information into the appropriate fields as given to you by your mobile service provider. Contact your service provider if you need help, as the options vary. Tap the "Save" button when you’re finished.

6. Return to the main menu and tap on the "Application" icon. Tap on the "Browser" option and then tap on the "Settings" option.

7. Tap on the "Profiles" option and select the connection profile that you just created. Click on the "Activate" button, and you will be able to access the Internet with your 3G network.
