Individual Plans
TracFone offers individual plans if you only need service for one cell phone. These plans start as low as $9.99. With the $9.99 plan, you receive 50 minutes per month. The $19.99 plan includes 125 minutes per month, and the $29.99 plan gives 200 minutes per month. These plans automatically add the selected amount of airtime to your phone every month, and you have the option to cancel whenever you want.
Family Value Plan
You may be interested in the Family Value Plan if you have several family members in need of a cell phone. For the first phone, you receive 50 minutes for $9.99 per month. For every additional phone, you pay $5.99 per month, which includes 40 minutes of airtime. As with the individual plans, this plan may be canceled at any time.
International Phone Service
If you want to make international phone calls, you can do so from your current TracFone plan. A special plan is not required. To access international calling, dial 1-800-706-3839 from your TracFone device. You can also set up a local phone number in Canada or Mexico where your friends and family can reach you, eliminating long distance charges for them.
TracFone Service Protection Plan
If you do not subscribe to a monthly plan, you must add airtime to your phone whenever your minutes run low. If your minutes run out entirely, and none are added before your Service End Date, your service is disconnected. With the Service Protection Plan, you can pay $5.99 at any time to keep the service from being disconnected. This adds 30 days of service whenever you need it.
