Use A Nikon Mll3

The Nikon ML-L3 remote is a wireless remote control that enables a user to take a picture without having to press the shutter manually. This can be used to take group shots, as well as to improve the quality of landscape pictures by reducing or eliminating the camera shake caused by pressing the shutter button.

Instructions

1. Mount the camera onto a tripod and set up the tripod so the camera is well-balanced.

2. Pull out the plastic tab on the ML-L3 when you use it for the first time; the remote is shipped with this tab to prevent the battery from being in touch with the contacts.

3. Aim the camera lens at the object you want to photograph, whether it is a landscape or a group portrait.

4. Press the button on the ML-L3. If the camera is in Program mode, it will focus and take the picture.

5. When you are in Manual mode, look through the viewfinder of your SLR and get the object you want to photograph in focus by pressing the shutter halfway down. (In manual-exposure mode, the ML-L3 won't autofocus.)
